How to Set NextTruck as Your Home Page

Check the latest listings as soon as you access the Internet by making NextTruck your home page. Scroll to find your browser version, then follow the step-by-step instructions.

Firefox 4.0 and Above
  • Navigate to the NextTruckOnline.com front page.
  • Pull down the "Firefox" menu in the top left corner.
  • Select "Options"
  • Click on the "General" tab.
  • You'll see the "Home Page" box at the top.
  • Click the "Use Current Page" button in that box.
  • Click "OK."
  • Close and open Firefox. You should see your new home page.

Firefox 3.6 and Below
  • Navigate to the NextTruckOnline.com front page.
  • Pull down the "Tools" menu of Firefox.
  • Select "Options"
  • Click on the "General" tab.
  • You'll see the "Home Page" box at the top.
  • Click the "Use Current Page" button in that box.
  • Click "OK."
  • Close and open Firefox. You should see your new home page.

Safari for MacOSX
  • Navigate to the NextTruckOnline.com front page.
  • Pull down the "Safari" menu.
  • Select "Preferences"
  • Click on the "General" tab.
  • Click "Set to Current Page" under the "Home Page:" field.
  • Click the red "close" button in the upper left corner of the preferences dialog box.
  • Close and open Safari. You should see your new home page.

Safari for Windows
  • Navigate to the NextTruckOnline.com front page.
  • Click the "Settings(Gear)" icon in the top right corner.
  • Select "Preferences"
  • Click on the "General" tab.
  • Click "Set to Current Page" under the "Home Page:" field.
  • Click the red "close" button in the upper left corner of the preferences dialog box.
  • Close and open Safari. You should see your new home page.

Internet Explorer 9
  • Navigate to the NextTruckOnline.com front page.
  • Click the "Settings(Gear)" icon in the top right corner.
  • Select "Internet Options"
  • Click on the "General" tab.
  • Click "Use current" under the "Home Page:" field.
  • Click "OK."

Internet Explorer 7 and 8
  • Navigate to the NextTruckOnline.com front page.
  • Click on the drop down arrow of the "HOME" icon.
  • Select "Add or Change Home Page"
  • In the dialog box, select "Web page as your only home page."
  • Click "Yes."

Chrome
  • Navigate to the NextTruckOnline.com front page.
  • Click the "Settings(Wrench)" icon in the top right corner.
  • Select "Options"
  • Click on the "Basics" tab to the left.
  • Click the text field next to "Open this page:" under the "Home Page:" section.
  • Enter "http://www.nexttruckonline.com" into the field

America Online
  • Navigate to the NextTruckOnline.com front page.
  • Click the following link with your right mouse button and choose "Copy URL to Clipboard." NextTruck.com (If the "copy" option did not appear, drag your cursor over our Web address below and hit your "Control" and "C" keys together:
  • Go to the "Members" menu and choose "Preferences."
  • Click on the "WWW" icon.
  • Click once on the "Home Page" box at the bottom of the window before you. Then hit your "Control" and "V" keys to paste in the URL. If the NextTruck.com address does not appear in the box, simply type in
  • Click "OK."

Netscape 6.0, Netscape 4.0, and Mozilla
  • Go to the "Edit" menu and choose "Preferences."
  • Select "Navigator" from the Category list on the left.
  • Under "Navigator starts with" check "Home Page."
  • Under "Home Page" type the following address in the location field:
  • Click "OK."

Opera
  • Navigate to the NextTruckOnline.com front page.
  • Pull down the "Tools" menu and select "Preferences."
  • Click the "General" tab.
  • Note the "Home page" field and the "Use Current" button to the right of it.
  • Click "Use Current."
  • Click "OK."

Other Browsers
In some cases, you may need to copy and paste the URL of the web site you wish to make your home page into a "home page" field in your browser's options. In others, you may be able to simply drag the favicon to the left of the URL to the "home" icon in the toolbar.
