Detailed Description

For complete listing information please select the Click To Bid button to see this item on eBay. Project started as a California owned 1963 International Harvester Scout 80 (similar to the later 800 but produced in much lower numbers and with the functioning safari fold down windshield which is something almost no other bronco K5 jeep land cruiser sand-rail defender etc. has) and was followed by a professional total race / prerunner build. This pro-touring restomod style trophy truck project is complete with a full fabricated and forged race suspension, 8 point internal chromoly cage, built aluminum ported 6.2L LS3 V8 (570hp+ ) with a GM400, race fans, full King 2.5 coilovers/bump stop systems (currently tuned around 18" but capable of 20"+ front/30"+ rear race travel), retrofit modern Z06 dash, and even a hand-laid carbon fiber hood/bezel. Truck has current California registration/tags/plates (renewal was just paid as of 10/17), less than 2500 miles on the build, is an incredibly capable machine that has never been race, and was built for unparalleled weekend fun on the dunes (which has ended up acquiring 99% of its mileage highway cruising). The Scout currently has a very streetable set-up with a Borla exhaust more mild at low RPMS, total ride height around 6'5" (as not to worry about any common height, garage, etc. limitations), brand new full Polk flagship HD LED outdoor bluetooth/pandora/mp3 audio streaming system with both under seat and overhead concealed 8-way surround sound speakers). Car is garaged in west Los Angeles and total build today would cost well north of $100k to replicate (may look at trades but really looking to downsize on toys). Feel free to email with any questions, offers, or schedule checking it out. -- Additional Build Details: Drivetrain: -Built 6.2L LS3 V8 with aluminum ported heads, LS7 cams, chain, complete tune, and billet intakes (Engine dyno'd 570HP/500TQ on pump gas with regular full synthetic changes) along with custom ace headers out to Borla side exit exhausts -Built GM Turbo 400 transmission with 2500 RP Turbine, billet components, B&M race shifter (and Sparco billet finishings) -Reinforced, coated, and race treated Ford 9" inch rear with 355 Daytona Iron locker gearing (RWD&4WD) -Full aluminum endurance race radiators (with auxiliary controlled fans) and reinforced/caged bay -Rear 20 gallon aluminum racing fuel cell with braided billet lines and 700hp race-output system Body & Suspension: -Full chromoly cage, modern ford I-beam independent front and extended swing arm rear race suspension, King 2.5 coilers over, 2.5 by-passes, and 2.5 adjustable billet bump stop system ( ~20" of travel in front, ~30" in rear) at all four points with kevlar kartek straps -Full forged hardware fittings with brand new heim joints, etc. -Race disk brakes with braided hoses, lines, race fluid, and wilwood finishings (all four corners) -HID headlights and signals with roof mounted high output LED signals and brake lighting
