THIS TRUCK IS LOCATED IN JACKSONVILLE, NC. Starts and runs. Engine is a Caterpillar 3126 diesel engine, maintained every 6,000 miles. The transmission is an Allison 4500 series automatic in good operating condition. This vehicle was taken out of service on 10 Aug 2018. Service records available upon purchase. The GVWR = 60,000, truck is equipped with a differential lock. THE ABS LIGHT IS ON.
Exterior: White, no cracked glass, has lots of dings and scratches and most of the paint is faded. The paint on the roof and the door have worn way and there is some surface rust but no rust holes. Tires are all 11R-22.5 and in very good condition; the rear tires are re-caps, and are mounted on universal steel bud wheels. All the decals have been removed, but impressions remains.
Interior: Gray/Black with bucket seats, the drive seat is air operated, driver seat bottom has a large whole, the passenger seat is in good condition, front and rear have tears and cracks, and the rubber flooring is in good condition. The stock AM/FM radio is a Delco AM/FM, the air condition does not blow very cold.
Body: The body is a Godwin model 500TR, 15’ long X 95” wide X 36 high with a 2x10 board on top. There is a lot of surface rust, but no big dents or holes; has standard dump gate with barn door attachment, and the tailgate locks air operated from the cab. There is a spreader plate with chains, and an electric H/D mesh type trap that work good. The PTO is electric and the hydraulic pump is cable operated. The truck has a 7-way flat electrical trailer connector; the trailer hook-up is a pintle hook / 2“ ball combination type. The 2 6” strobe light does not work.
Snow Plow: The plow is a Myers Quick-lift with a 9 foot Myers-Max plow with a snow deflector. There are a couple small cracks near the support bracket mounts, the cutting is replaceable and is 5” in the left and 6” in the right. There is still 2” of adjustment on the left and 3” in the right. The controls are already installed in the cab and all work. This plow was used this past winter and operated very well. The two hydraulic quick disconnect hoses are there and have no leaks.
